Meet Dr. Myra Brennan
Dr. Myra Brennan focuses on creating the most natural looking and beautiful smile possible. Gaining a unique set of qualifications and skills over her years of work in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Brennan has a highly sought after vision, a keen eye for aesthetics and a finesse for creating facial balance and harmony when designing teeth. It is this that enables her to completely transform smiles, creating the best possible outcome for her patients time and time again.
Dr. Brennan seized the opportunity to help change lives – bringing happiness and confidence to her clients. A beautiful smile is priceless, and being able to smile freely should be a right that we all share, but for some smiling is difficult, upsetting and even traumatizing. Dr. Brennan wanted to reinstate the right to smile for her clients, making smiling joyful and natural.
Eduction and experience...
Dr. Myra Brennan is a specialist in Prosthodontics. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of Engineering at Boston University and worked in the CAD/CIM research department of General Electric Aircraft Engines and in Product Design and Development with a start up medical device company in Boston before entering dental school. She graduated from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at BU where she received her dental degree, and advanced certification from both the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program and the specialty residency program in Prosthodontics.
She has held academic positions with BU as Assistant Clinical Professor and Course Director in Pre-doctoral Occlusion and also as Affiliate Clinical Faculty at the University of Washington in Seattle with the postdoctoral program in Prosthodontics. She is an elected Active member in the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and a Board Eligible member of the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Brennan is published in the prestigious journals of the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry and the Quintessence of Dental Technology and continues to teach and lecture on aesthetics, occlusion and comprehensive oral rehabilitation. Presently, she maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics in Hingham.
